Just as Rock n Roll lead to Hard Rock which lead to Heavy Metal, Bebop got bluesier and more swing focussed to form Hard Bop.

Original Indian jazz fusion from tabla maestro Manjit Singh, with vocalist Daljeet Kaur, Alan Brown and more…

Original music by guitarist David Ward, as well as selected delicacies from the jazz tradition. Long marinated in such pungent stew of Monk, Coleman, Mingus, Lacy, Zappa and Frisell, David writes music that is melodic, humourous, rhythmic and joyous. Joined for this special concert by Callum Passells on alto saxophone.
