Every now and then, we’re presented with two great programmes by an artist. And never have we felt so disappointed to have to choose between them… so…
We’re breaking our own rules and inviting pianist Jonathan Crayford back for an encore performance, to preview music from his forthcoming album, recorded in New York with Ari Hoenig and Fima Ephron.
Those large rhythm section shoes will be amply-filled by local Toms: Thomas Friggens and Tom Dennison.

CJC Creative Jazz Club Aotearoa presents original contemporary jazz and improvised music. Artist-led, and running almost uninterrupted since 2009, they host the finest musicians from around New Zealand, and frequent international guests, providing a platform to bring composing jazz musicians and audiences together.
