Eilish Wilson (Wellington)
Eilish Wilson is a saxophonist and educator from Te Whanganui-a-Tara.
Recently returned from Los Angeles, where she was on a Fulbright Scholarship, Eilish graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Jazz from California Institute of the Arts. Eilish has played at the Monterey Jazz Festival, and toured with Trinity Roots and the Brett McKenzie Band.
Artists that inspire her include Josh Johnson, NyOh, Dick Oatts, and Kae Tempest. Eilish will be presenting music of her CalArts mentors, along with a handful of original tunes, featuring chord-less quartet with some of Auckland's most beloved musicians.

CJC Creative Jazz Club Aotearoa presents original contemporary jazz and improvised music. Artist-led, and running almost uninterrupted since 2009, they host the finest musicians from around New Zealand, and frequent international guests, providing a platform to bring composing jazz musicians and audiences together.
