Music at Midday: Andrew Healey

Saturday 29 March
12-1pm
FREE Event

A songwriter from Auckland’s North Shore, Andrew Healey has walked a somewhat eclectic musical path. He started out singing and playing guitar for covers and original bands. Then, for many years he oscillated between intimate gigs as a solo singer-guitarist and extravagant shows as a crooner for the jazz-swing quartet Standard Deviation

In recent times, due to music-industry disruption courtesy of COVID-19, Andrew has focused his talents to the craft of songwriting. And his efforts yielded ‘Parallel World,’ a melodic 11-track album about his perspective of life in the twenty-first century.

Andrew’s original music has appeared in T.V. and film, and he co-wrote ‘Call me up’, the theme song for a show on Radio Live.

Music at Midday returns to Pah Homestead with an hour of free live music from 12 to 1pm each Saturday.

Auckland is rich with a diverse range of creative musical talent and we celebrate this every week.  Sit down in the drawing room to enjoy the live music, or peruse the galleries while you listen to the music drifting through the building.
