James Ross: Constructing Paintings is an exhibition spanning a 30 year period of one of New Zealand’s most important contemporary painters. Drawing from the Arts Trust Collection and the artist’s own, Constructing Paintings illustrates how Ross has, throughout his career, consistantly investigated the relationship between painting and sculpture; pushing the boundaries of what constitutes a painting.
About the Artist:

Since graduating Ross has participated in numerous group and solo shows both in New Zealand and overseas.
