Guidebook Second Edition follows from last years’ presentation and focuses on two different aspects of artworks – subject matter and medium - and how artists use these in interesting, unusual and unexpected ways.
The different sections consider how artists handle different medium and how different genre and subject matter is interpreted by contemporary New Zealand artists.

Artworks featured in this exhibition have been selected to provide an overview of key techniques and deepen understanding of fundamental aspects of art making. Most of the artworks included are new acquisitions to the Arts Trust Collection with the majority created in the last 24 months.
