Auckland Heritage Festival is an annual city-wide event celebrating the city’s diverse heritage. Held over the October school holidays - it’s a great chance to explore exhibitions, walks, talks and tours — through to concerts and market days. There are events to suit everyone.

Mark Laurent is a professional musician, writer, and lifelong Aucklander. He and musician/partner Brenda Liddiard present a spell-binding program of songs, poetry and stories of a boy growing up in the big city in the 1960s-70s.

Artist Workshop for Kids: Heritage Etchings
Sunday 6 October, 2-4pm
FREE Event

Kids are invited to get hands-on with the history of Pah Homestead in this creative class. We look at the textured heritage features of the building such as fireplaces and grills. From our 2D etchings, we will create a 3D sculpture.

Vintage Market
Saturday 13 October, 10am-2pm
FREE Entry

Join us for a celebration of crafts and creations from yester-year with our Vintage Market. This is a great opportunity to support local and pick up some handmade goods from another time.

Auckland Heritage Festival 2024 runs from 28 September - 13 October. The festival brings together 160 free or low-cost events throughout Auckland.
