Artist Workshop Series: Create a Pop-Up Art Gallery
With Artist Kiki Hall
Sunday 12 November, 2-4pm
FREE Event
Suitable for Ages 6-12
Spaces will be limited
In our Artist Workshop Series, local artists share their inspiration and skills with children in a series of free classes.
Create a mini pop-up art gallery in the form of a letter with artist Kiki Hall. Write to someone in the future, cut out mini artworks from current Pah Homestead shows or draw your own, decorate with colourful cards to make a tiny exhibition. Then date it and pop it away for the future you to open!
Inspired by the mail art of cartoonist and illustrator Alfred Joseph Frueh. He would write love letters to his wife, while on assignment in Europe, describing the details of art galleries. The letter would also transform into a pop-up model of the art gallery.
No reservation required, but spaces will be limited and available on a first-come basis.
