Sarah Spence, singing and playing acoustic folk music

“A singer/songwriter with a folky acoustic vibe”

Sarah Marlowe Spence is a singer songwriter with a varied repertoire. With a folk-classical voice, her music is at times a deep reflection on life and experience yet can include humorous narratives on failed relationships.

Sarah has classical voice training and after a music paper at university, she started playing guitar and writing songs. Sarah lived overseas for some time and spent time living in a yoga retreat and study centre. This influenced her music to include a Sanskrit repertoire which she also shares accompanying yoga classes with music and in group singing events at places such as yoga studios.

Music at Midday returns to Pah Homestead with an hour of free live music from 12 to 1pm each Saturday.

Auckland is rich with a diverse range of creative musical talent and we celebrate this every week.  Sit down in the drawing room to enjoy the live music, or peruse the galleries while you listen to the music drifting through the building.
