Hoop are a multi-instrumentalist indie folk band that have been on the Auckland music scene honing their craft for the past 10 years or so. Their songs cover a vast range of subjects such as life, death, love, hate, politics, economics. escalators and Orang Utangs. 

Hoop host the Ministry of Folk on Dominion Road where you can find them playing regular shows with other talented acoustic acts.

The line up for Pah Homestead Music at Midday will be:

Al Baxter (vocals, guitar, banjo, harmonica)

Nick Edgar (Vocals, guitars, flute, ukulele, harmonica)

Emily Allen (Violin, Viola)

Glenn Coldham (Bass)

Rusty Knox (percussion)


Music at Midday returns to Pah Homestead with an hour of free live music from 12 to 1pm each Saturday.

Auckland is rich with a diverse range of creative musical talent and we celebrate this every week.  Sit down in the drawing room to enjoy the live music, or peruse the galleries while you listen to the music drifting through the building.
