Cello and Piano recital, performed by Natarani Witten-Hannah and Erin Fagan
Natarani Witten-Hannah studied at Auckland University, Trinity College of Music, London, and the University of Canterbury. She holds a Master of Music degree in Performance Cello. She has also trained in the Suzuki method and enjoys teaching a wide range of students of all ages.
Natarani has performed in widely in various orchestras, the Heartstrings Duo (with Classical Guitar) and is now excited to return to performing the cello repertoire with piano.
Born and raised in West Auckland, Erin is a freelance composer, arranger, music educator and pianist. A post-graduate student of Auckland University, Erin achieved First-Class Honours in Composition in 2015 and has since been working as a composer for theatre, musicals, short films, chamber groups, orchestras and more. Erin has 15 years’ experience, teaching, accompanying and performing across Auckland also; having taught piano, theory and composition both privately and in professional studios, as well as a period of lecturing at Unitec and two years managing a West Auckland music school. Most recently, Erin has had works performed by the Auckland Symphony Orchestra, Manukau Symphony Orchestra and Wairua Sinfonietta, for which he is currently their inaugural Composer-in-Residence.
Music at Midday returns to Pah Homestead with an hour of free live music from 12 to 1pm each Saturday.
