ABOUT THE ARTIST
Georgia Arnold (born 1997) lives and works in Auckland as an artist and arts educator. She recently completed her Master of Fine Arts at Elam in 2023, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons) in 2019. Arnold works intuitively across a range of mediums, including drawing, ceramics, jewellery, painting, and sculpture. Situating her practice in the field of expanded drawing, her works investigate the messy potential of autobiography. She is interested in the playful tension between depicting imagery and exploring the expressive markmaking of her materials.
