In 2012 Grae Burton was invited to capture images from dress rehearsals of individual dance performances that were a part of the Tempo Dance Festival 2012.
I was given free run of the auditorium to capture performances from strong and intimate locations. I was motivated by the process of capturing movement and moment during the many wonderful shows I was able to witness. I captured many hundreds of images of which these are a select few that I hope capture an essence of what being in that movement and moment was like.
