Pushing Parallels is a celebration of re-learning and questioning traditional art practices. Showcasing a diverse group of multidisciplinary artists from Aotearoa, they are encouraged to experiment, pushing the limits of their mediums to create a playground of colour and form.

The Arts House Trust Collection comprises over 9,500 artworks from Aotearoa / New Zealand artists. Originally established with the aim of supporting artists through the acquisition of art; the Collection holds a significant number of early-career works from many well-known artists.

We offer venue hire for weddings, celebrations, meetings, seminars, concerts, film, photography and more.

Our collection is available for inclusion in exhibitions to galleries, museums, art institutions, schools, hospitals, universities, civic spaces and government bodies, amongst others, on a permanent revolving loan basis.

We offer talks about our current exhibitions for groups of over five people by appointment. Bookings should be made one week in advance to ensure staff availability.
